It is very possible that the wrong school was chosen to be closed, however how many parents failed to express or voice their feelings until after a council made a choice? The same old song; “Let some one else take care of it!”
It is also of this old man’s opinion once the school has been chosen to be closed the teachers of the closed school should not find themselves to be automatically included. As I recall my years of being a father, I personally did a poor job of being involved with our schools and community! I hope you do better! Yet, I do recall working hours of 10 to 16 hours a day along some misguided values.
I am still in my learning curve of life how about you? We can do better don’t you think?
